LIPART MAKE

"Permanent makeup" is a technique that uses quasi-medical methods to add color to the skin, making it closer to a natural skin tone.

Originally, for people whose skin color has become unnatural due to vitiligo, surgery, or injury, it is difficult to restore the original color with insurance-covered medical treatment.

This medical technology was developed for people who have difficulty restoring their natural color.

It is sometimes referred to as "paramedical pigmentation" or "medical tattoo."

Applying this to cosmetic medicine, the color of the lips can be changed even without wearing makeup.

Lip permanent makeup is a semi-medical technique that allows you to maintain a natural and beautiful finish at all times.

Lip permanent makeup is a procedure that involves injecting pigment into the surface layer of the skin. Because the pigment is injected into the skin, it will not wash off with sweat or water.
Tattoos involve injecting pigment about 2mm from the skin's surface, while permanent makeup involves injecting pigment into a shallower layer, about 0.2mm from the skin's surface.
Unlike tattoos, which never come off, permanent makeup fades gradually over time.
Permanent makeup fades with the skin's metabolism, but it never completely disappears, so touch-ups are usually needed every two years or so.

Regarding the procedure: Permanent makeup is a medical procedure that requires multiple sessions. We recommend two or three sessions.
For the second treatment, we recommend waiting two months to allow the color from the first treatment to set. Excessive over-lining is not recommended as it can result in unnatural color retention and uneven fading.

Regarding swelling, pain, and downtime after the procedure: Swelling and pain are at their peak until the next day. After 3 days, you may still feel some tingling or tightness, but the swelling and pain will have almost completely subsided.
The downtime for lip permanent makeup is said to be around one week. Starting around the day after the procedure, the skin will begin to peel, and new skin will grow in about a week.

Regarding pain during the procedure: After applying topical anesthesia inside the mouth, we will thoroughly numb the area with infiltration anesthesia.
We also apply topical anesthesia to the surface of your lips, so you can undergo the procedure completely painlessly.

In Japan, permanent makeup is considered a medical procedure, and can only be performed by those with a medical or nursing license.

Lip art can naturally even out any asymmetry in the lips and give them a healthy, rosy color.
We design the product to suit each individual and create custom-made color combinations.

At our clinic, everything from consultation and design to treatment is handled by a dentist who is a specialist in oral health.
